I have City Navigator on Mapsource can it be used on Basecamp or will I have to buy another CD to load. This perspective suggests that, basecamp found the maps I already had loaded in Mapsource 4.
I have several tracks/routes probably around 70-80 saved. Can I open BaseCamp and then bring them up out of documents where I have them saved just like i do with Mapsource. Mapsource - combining tracks?
I am a big believer in deleting all of those 1 - 4 point tracks, might be worth checking them first if you were under heavy cover and losing signal but usually they are just records of when you turned the GPS on (like to connect it to the computer or check the state of the batteries). In this context, sooner or later you may run out of "available tracks", hate to lose data while saving un-needed stuff. How to open GPX files and resize tracklogs with Mapsource. I'm using Mapsource Metroguide Version 5.00, which would NOT open downloaded .MPS or .GPX files after multiple attempts. I went to the Garmin site, downloaded their latest version of MapSource, version 6.9.1, now the files open without a hitch.
