Hey, I found this thread while searching for a solution to a similar problem in that explorer was crashing and restarting repeatedly so windows couldn't focus for more than 2 seconds making typing things a chore since it would focus and unfocus repeatedly. Another way of doing this is by renaming the installer to ep_uninstaller.exe and running it with administrator privileges from the task ... Thank God (and valinet) for ExplorerPatcher!
