GARMIN 60Csx no longer recognized in Basecamp?? Also I suspect you can still use Mapsource to read and write data from the 60 series. You could then use conventional files to move data in and out of Basecamp. Importing Track from MapSourse to BaseCamp | Adventure Rider.

The Topo 24K West was originally in MapSource as was the LBMaps Baja Navigator and I transferred both Maps to BaseCamp. I tried to download both the maps to my Garmin 600 SD card (4GB). Topo 24k West downloaded just fine but the LBMaps Baja Navigator would not download from BaseCamp. Both Maps were in BaseCamp and usable to make tracks. The first problem can be addressed (most of the time) by putting the two tracks you wish to join on the same MapSource page by opening them in separate mapsource windows (two copies of MapSource open, each with a track).
