Reopen Closed Windows

In recent times, reopen closed windows has become increasingly relevant in various contexts. Reopen closed window - Opera forums. I just closed a window and can't find the way to open it back. I read some people talking about some history menu this option is, but I can't even find a history menu. Moreover, reopen multiple closed windows with many tabs - Opera forums. In relation to this, i waited several more minutes, hoping the closed windows would reopen, but they never did.

Perhaps unwisely, I closed the one open window, then restarted Opera. That window reopened, as did all 37 processes, but no other windows or tabs. Is there any way to reopen previously open windows and tabs after a crash like this? [Solved]Recovering Lost Tabs after Restart? In this context, i go to History and there is no "Restore last Session" or "Reopen previous Tabs" or whatever.

I've not yet closed Opera again since re-opening after the windows update and PC restart; though I have opened a few tabs while googling for a solution! Accidentally closed an instance of Opera with multiple ... In this context, there was another window open on the 2nd monitor with a Netflix tab.

Now when I start Opera only the last session from monitor 2 opens. Any solutions for restore closed windows with tabs?. If you close the last window, you can still recover it by choosing History -> Reopen Last Closed Window.

@mrdowntown assuming you're on Mac, there's a difference between closing the last window (this closes the window but doesn't quit Opera) and quitting Opera (which also closes all windows, but they're recovered when you start Opera again). 1 1 Reply Last reply 14 Apr 2023, 23:54 leocg Moderator Volunteer @tlee404 14 Apr 2023, 23:54 @tlee404 You can also reopen closed windows in Opera, just use the tabs menu or menu > History. If so, you can choose to reopen them one by one. If they're not there: Goto the URL opera://about and take note of the "profile" path. In Windows Explorer, goto the profile folder. Right-click the "Last Session" file and open it in Notepad. From another angle, do the same with the "Last Tabs" file. Temporary history in private windows (Reopen closed tabs).

Issue: I occasionally mistakenly close tabs in private mode, often due to tabs shifting around, accidentally middle-clicking the wrong tab, or accidentally double clicking, etc. Suggestion: It would be nice to have the option to enable a short tab/URL his... Additionally, how to recover a previous session in Opera GX.
