c:\Users\username Usually there's where all the user data is stored, there might be exceptions like if one of the uses changed the location of his files pointing it to another drive. But usually c:\users\username is where all the folders with userstuff are stored like Documents, Videos, Music, Downloads etc. Where is the default location for "Microsoft Print to PDF" stored?. The system default will be the Documents folder, and the OS appears to recall the last saved location by application as well. Since Windows 11 (or maybe earlier) Windows Notepad internally stores unsaved files so if the application (or Windows) crashes they will be still there later.
